The once called “the water of Life” for being flavorless and odorless, has very much changed into a variety of fully infused and assorted flavors, offering a versatility when comes to make cocktails.
To celebrate this National Vodka long weekend, here’s a couple of suggestions to raise the glass.
The Lychee Martini is one of MR CHOW’s most popular cocktails, featuring Absolut Elyx Vodka, lychee and a touch of ginger for a delicious twist makes a good start for celebration. (Featured Cocktail photo).
The Estiatorio Ornos Miami location is now open on Mondays, with its first conveniently on National Vodka Day. Celebrate the occasion with the Arrow of Eros cocktail, spiked with craft HAKU Vodka and St. Elder liquor, adding a sweet citrus and floral honey flavor. Finished with a strawberry-lavender syrup foam, this pink drink is one to try.
As an ode to the Asian side of the MILA Miami concept, their cocktail “Beach Walk” pairs Japanese melons with Kaffir lime (a Thai citrus) and lemongrass-infused, premium Wheatley Vodka. Aptly named, the drink has fruity flavors of coconut, pineapple, and lemon that will remind you of a tropical vacation. Finished with a spritz of Fever Tree Yuzu soda and garnished with a pink flower, this drink is refreshing and beautiful.
Enjoy some “Vodkaritas” at MAIA House, made by mixologist Barbara Correa, with sweet notes of eldelflower, and yuzu. They’ll be featuring this special cocktail all day on Tuesday, October 5th.
