Miami was abuzz as NOBLEMAN hosted a VIP Art Basel kick-off party at Madonna’s former waterfront mansion. Perfect weather, incredible music, and truly unbeatable surroundings were the ideal backdrop for this unforgettable evening. 

For the very first installment of NOBLEMAN at Art Basel, a magical night was certainly in store. Incredible cocktails, gorgeous jewelry, and an oceanfront bar were all welcome additions to this incredible event. With the extraordinary estate provided by the Compass and Assouline team, Madonna’s former mansion was the perfect place to host this luxurious gathering. The luxe surroundings were enjoyed by all as guests were welcomed with a special glass of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold and Rose champagnes.

NOBLEMAN VIPs explored the beautiful outdoor setting and were treated to the addition of Bar Monte by Amaro Montenegro, a luxe mobile bar serving delicious craft cocktails, mimicking the simplicity of Italian bar culture with cafe-like seating and creative cocktails by Award-winning Bartender Julio Cabrera. The bar will be slinging Amaro Montenegro cocktails like the Monterita and Montenegroni or classics like the Monte & Tonic or on the rocks with a twist.  Glittering displays by Chopard drew the eyes of everyone, as guests got an up-close look at some truly incredible watches and jewels, and drinks featuring Beluga Vodka were a hit.

Guests enjoyed the water views and beautiful weather as they were treated to incredible tastings of Tequila Clase Azul. Small bites, wonderful conversation, beautiful floral arrangements by Venus et Fleur, and great music came together to make this Miami night one to remember. In true NOBLEMAN fashion, this was an evening of laughter and luxury.

The team behind Downtown Miami’s beloved neighborhood bar Lost Boy, welcomes their first restaurant, Tropezón, an Andalusian gin and tapas restaurant and bar which recently opened on December 14, 2021, at 512 Espanola Way located next door to Esmé Miami Beach hotel. Tucked away in the Mediterranean-like corridors of South Beach’s historic street, co-founders Randy Alonso and Chris Hudnall of growing hospitality brand Lost Boy & Co., welcome the funky new spot serving up Spanish-inspired tapas, gin-forward cocktails, and much more.

Tropezón, which means “to stumble” in Spanish, takes inspiration from namesake Spanish village bars where old men play afternoon cards, and women converse over sips of Sherry. Now open for dinner and late-night drinking, the charming indoor-outdoor dining space offers a cozy, old-world vibe that welcomes neighbors, travelers, and locals eager for Spanish comfort, signature tapas, and an insanely good gin program.

We aim to bring the same community feels we built in Downtown to Española Way, an area that is quickly transforming into a versatile destination. With the opening of Tropezón, we aim to offer a new local spot where you can stumble in for tapas and sherry, a weekday Gin & Tonic, or a late-night dinner with friends,” says co-owner Chris Hudnall. “The goal for us is to embrace the traditions of Spain, specifically of the Andalusian region, where tapas culture is still celebrated today. We want to introduce this culture to our guests and give them a sense of what dining in Andalucía is like,” adds co-owner Randy Alonso.

Paying homage to the pueblos in Spain, the bar celebrates its love for gin with a wide depth of gin infusions, taking the beverage program to the next level. Guests can choose from a collection of more than 20 variations infused with tea, fruits, nuts, and even cured meats. The Gin & Tonic section of the menu features unique variations that serve as great refreshments for Miami’s warm climate. G&T’s such as Blue Matcha Yuzu, and Local Strawberry are soon-to-be favorites alongside updated classics like Vermut and Rose Sangria and Gin Martinis. Imbibers will also look forward to the bar’s extensive list of Sherry, Vermouth, and selection of classic Spanish cocktails done right.

Tropezón, located at 512 Española Way, is now open for dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and until 2 a.m. on Friday & Saturday with the kitchen open until 10 p.m. nightly. AXIA – one of the most unique spirits from Greece – made its official first introduction to the city of Miami through a private Expert VIP Event at Spanglish Craft Cocktail Bar + Kitchen. The event hosted some of the most coveted and talented mixologists in the city, and they were able to dive into an immersive experience where the breezes of the Mediterranean were brought to life through captivating scenery, aromas, and sounds, inspired by the Greek culture.

In this Expert VIP Event, bartenders, mixologists, and industry tastemakers were able to experiment with Axia’s uniqueness. Not only were they able to enjoy three-course AXIA-infused meals accompanied by signature Mastiha cocktails created by Hector Acevedo and his team, but they were also introduced to the AXIA Mixology Bar – an AXIA-world-inspired bar where they were able to unveil their creativity and create their own cocktails using AXIA.

Axia is an elegant, extra dry spirit distilled from the aromatic resin of the Mastiha tree, a gnarled and twisted evergreen found clutching to the hillsides of Chios, Greece. Revered for its natural flavors and beauty, this resin has incited jealousy and warfare. It’s even been used as a snakebite anti-venom – a potent elixir from which our spirit has been inspired.

We are creating a new spirit category with this product. If you think of Axia, is a based spirit that can be mixed with anything like Gin, Vodka, or Tequila. That’s the uniqueness of the product” Says Axia’s spirit CEO Tony Chvala.  Axia keeps the unique characteristics of Mastiha, but with additional velvety flavors notes of bergamot and cypress, and a fragrant rose aroma. “We are in the Premium category, we love creating events, and experiences like this one to introduce the brand and the Mastiha, in the US” Added Tony.

All those who participated in the AXIA Mixology bar were part of a special competition where winners were up to the chance of winning an AXIA bundle valued at $1,500.

The winners of the competition were Giorgia Crea – Known for being the National Champion of the Great Bartender Competition for “The World Class Bartender of The Year” Award and Christian Delpech, who is also a 19-time Bartending Flaring World Champion

Welcome the new year experiencing Leku’s a la carte menu or Chef Mikel’s Signature New Year’s Eve 4-Course Menu ($200.00++). At La Mar, there is a traditional Peruvian-inspired holiday cuisine by Executive Chef Diego Oka. Guests may awaken their taste buds with a family-style fried turkey feast and a luxurious buffet featuring: Seafood rice, scallop, and pan con chicharron live stations. There will also be Anticucho grilled favorites such as Anticucho de corazón, Anticucho de pollo, and Anticucho shrimp. The good eats continue with quinoa salad, pasta salad, whole fish Nikkei, ají de gallina empanadas, potato and choclo, grilled corn, and asparagus. While enjoying beautiful Biscayne Bay and the stunning city skyline, patrons are also invited to sip on an array of cocktails. $165.00++ per person for guests that are 21 and over for a two-hour dinner experience with a selection of cocktails; $95.00++ per person for ages 7- 20.

La Mar also offers a fantastic venue to ring in 2022. On New Year’s Eve, there will be two seatings available from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for $190.00++ per person for 21 and over. Mareva 1939 x Steamed MusselsIn Miami Beach, Mareva 1939 will also kick off their holiday dining experience with a Christmas Eve Dinner. The experience features a family-style menu at $80.00++ per person. The menu’s highlights include Spanish Cheese Platter; Pan Con Tomate; Baby Kale, Valdeon Cheese, Pear, Marcona Almonds, Sherry Vinaigrette; Spanish Octopus, Potato Cream, Smoked Paprika, Arbequina Olive Oil; Patatas Bravas; and Honey-Spiced Duck Breast.

Return to Mareva 1939 the following day for the Christmas Day Brunch. The brunch contains an a la carte menu served from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This menu boasts tasty tapas and other delicious breakfast items such as huevos rotos and 3 eggs omelet, Artichoke & Mushroom Paella, Braised Short Ribs, and Rib Eye with Sangria Pitchers and Unlimited Mimosa, Chismosa and Bloody Mary options. Jeju island Hirame dill Mustard seed Fig vinegar Caviar3 1In South Beach, MILA Restaurant is offering a remarkable dish that represents their “MediterrAsian” concept. They will serve “Hirame” which is the Japanese term for Summer Flounder. Mila imports hirame from the volcanic South Korean island of Jeju. Chefs flavor the dish with dill, mustard seed, and fig vinegar for a perfect balance of flavor, freshness, and finesse. Topped with fish eggs and bright edible flowers, The Hirame is as physically stunning as it is scrumptious. 

To ring in the new year, MILA, located in the heart of South Beach, is offering a two-hour dining experience “izakaya” style. This means that the dishes are meant to be shared amongst the table. In their unique and tantalizing cuisine, the MILA team introduces the bold signature flavors of the Mediterranean and Japanese culture, including premium wagyu, black rock lava grilled prime filet, beef short rib ‘kalbi’, foie gras and uni diver scallops, shawarma spiced wagyu gyoza, MediterrAsian makis and more. Their New Year’s Eve first seating between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. will be offered at $250.00 indoors for a prix fixe menu and $300.00 outdoors. This Christmas Eve, the award-winning MINA Group will offer a spectacular five-course menu for $89.00++ per person. Ornos will not only transport guests to the Mediterranean, but also the wonderful restaurant staff creates a genuine, hospitable environment that makes guests feel welcomed and comfortable. It is recommended that guests begin their Ornos dining experience with the iconic Ornos tasting of spreads. The spreads include tzatziki, taramasalata, tirokafteri, melitzanosalata, and hummus, followed by a choice of seafood or pumpkin soup. The next course will include an option of salads followed by the main of filet mignon kebab, black bass, or classic roasted leg of lamb. On both days, guests will be able to get their hands on Tur’s new Winter menu and featured specials from 6 p.m.-11: 00 p.m. In addition to a la carte items, Chef Christian Chirino will be offering a seven-course tasting menu for $145.00++ per person.
